Location: Oxnard, CA
Work Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday- Friday
Compensation: $17
Job Summary:
The Laser Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining laser cutting machines to produce precision parts and components according to company specifications. This role requires a strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation:
- Set up and operate laser cutting machines, including programming and adjusting settings as necessary.
- Load materials into the machine, ensuring proper alignment and positioning.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.

Quality Control:
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser cutting equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of production runs, including material usage and machine settings.

Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Collaboration:
- Work closely with other team members, including engineers and quality control, to meet production goals.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding any issues or concerns.
Qualifications:

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating laser cutting machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with CNC programming and machine setup.

Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in basic math and measurement tools.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining or a related field is a plus.
