The Lincoln Group has partnered with a client in the injection molding industry in search of a Procurement Director to join their team! The Procurement Director will work under the VP of Operations and will manage procurement for the entire company. Title: Procurement Director
Software: ERP Systems (Syteline, IQMS, SAP, or Sage)
Location: El Paso, TX
Work Schedule: Full-time in office, Mon – Fri
Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Maximize the positive impact on the company’s EBITDA achievement, growth objectives, and customer experience.
- Establish a strong team working within ISO 9001 and AS 9100 requirements.
- Negotiate and implement true cost analysis across all vendors and logistics partners.
- Create and manage vendor scorecards, based on performance.
- Deliver KPIs against financial targets and budgets.
- Transform the distribution and logistics organizations to deliver industry-leading service and cost-to-serve metrics.
- Proactively partner with the Finance organization to develop strategies and contingency plans that mitigate financial impact as needed.
- Develop strategic objectives to improve supply chain efficiency, reliability, and responsiveness while coordinating program plans with sourcing and planning cross-functional partners.
- Work with the Senior Leadership Team and critical stakeholders to develop a distribution and logistics strategy aligned with the company’s current and future vision.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Previous plastics or manufacturing experience required.
- Multi-state experience preferred.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- ERP system knowledge.
- Expertise in logistical systems and practices, i.e., commerce warehouse management and understanding of key logistics and supply chain indicators.
- Strong business acumen.
- Strong negotiation skills.
