The Lincoln Group has partnered with a client in the aerospace manufacturing industry in search of a Saw Operator to join their team! The Saw Operator will be responsible for operating saw machines to cut metal components to precise specifications.

Title: Saw Operator
Location: Port Hueneme, CA
Work Schedule: 4:00 pm – 12:30 am, Mon – Fri
Compensation: $17/hr
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Operate and maintain saw machines to cut metal components according to job specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine cutting requirements.
- Inspect finished cuts for quality and accuracy, adjusting as necessary.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including material usage and machine maintenance.
- Set up machines by selecting appropriate blades, adjusting settings, and securing materials.
- Monitor machine operation to ensure accuracy, quality, and safety.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on saw machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma.
- Experience as a saw operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining saw machines.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Basic math skills and ability to perform measurements using measuring tools.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to machine operation.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet production demands.
