The Lincoln Group has partnered with a client in the investment fund industry in search of a Staff Accountant to join their team! The Staff Accountant will work under the Controller and will be responsible for one of the retail company’s portfolios. Location: Houston, TX
Work Schedule: Full-time in office, Mon – Fri
Compensation: $70,000 – $80,000
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Prepare and review financial statements.
- Reconcile accounts.
- Management reporting
- Treasury management
- Lender borrowing base preparation.
- Timely and accurate financial reporting.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting in a corporate environment.
- CPA certification is a plus.
- Experience with retail/supplier accounting from the perspective of supplier billing, collections, tracking discounts and allowances, promotional accruals, and reconciliations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounting software.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
