  • Electronic Repair Technician III

    The Lincoln Group has partnered with a client in the engineering industry producing, in search of a Electronic Repair Technician III to join their team! Looking for candidates who want to join, build, and contribute to a great team and an evolving culture!

    Type of Hire: Temp-to-Hire

    Title: Electronic Repair Technician III

    Location: Camarillo, CA

    Work Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday- Friday

    Compensation: $28-32/hour

    Summary:

    The Electronic Repair Technician III works both independently and in a team environment to perform analysis of complex renewable energy (wind turbine) controllers to determine route cause failure and performs necessary repairs using proprietary test equipment.

    Duties:

    • Inspects, evaluates and executes component level repairs as required.
    • Perform circuit board repairs to component level.
    • Perform controller operating system and site configuration firmware.
    • Validate repair and system operation performance using hardware simulators.
    • Work closely with engineering to improve repair and test processes.

    Skills:

    • Must demonstrate technical knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
    • Proven troubleshooting skills to component level on complex electronic circuits.
    • Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities.
    • Possess basic knowledge of common types of industrial transducers and controls.
    • Excellent soldering skills and ability to remove and replace fine pitch SMD components.
    • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
    • Ability to recognize and solve typical problems that can occur in own work area.
    • Computer proficient in software such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

     

    Certifications:

     IPC-7711/7721 and IPC-A-610 preferred

    Experience:

              Associate degree in Electronics Engineering or Electronics Engineering Technology

              Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a related technical field.

    Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler

    Location: Camarillo, CA

    Work Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday- Friday

    Compensation: $19-23/hour

    Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing electro-mechanical components and systems according to specifications and quality standards. This role requires a high level of precision, technical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assemble electro-mechanical components and systems, including wiring, soldering, and mechanical assembly, following blueprints and schematics.
    • Conduct testing and inspection of assembled products to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
    • Troubleshoot and repair any issues with assemblies or components.
    • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment efficiently and safely.
    • Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, test results, and inventory usage.
    • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve assembly procedures and product designs.
    • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field preferred.
    • Proven experience as an electro-mechanical assembler or similar role.
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
    • Strong soldering skills and experience with electronic components and wiring.
    • Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
    • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Good communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
    • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and documentation purposes.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
    • Ability to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
    • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
