The Lincoln Group has partnered with a fast-growing, private equity-owned organization in search of a Senior Accountant, on a direct-hire basis, to join their exceptional team! The Senior Accountant will report to the Assistant Controller. They will be responsible for supporting the order-to-cash cycle within a multi-unit, retail environment. Work Schedule: Hybrid – M/F Remote, T/W/Th in Office
Compensation: $95,000 – $105,000 plus bonus
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Analyze the current order to cash process and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to further integrate accounting systems with other business applications.
- Implement system upgrades and process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead and manage optimization initiatives, including coordination with stakeholders.
- Think analytically about solving problems that save time and benefit the speed and accuracy of month-end close.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
- Automate data collection and cash-matching logic to enhance productivity.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the various systems.
- Develop and generate exception reporting to isolate and resolve discrepancies effectively.
- Record journal entries and reconcile accounts.
- Provide support to auditors as needed.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures.
- Review and ensure accounting systems and processes comply with company policies, GAAP, security protocols, and other regulatory requirements.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems or a related field
- CPA or CMA certification.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or systems analysis.
- Proficiency with accounting software.
- Proficient in accounting systems and financial reporting tools.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, data management, and system integration techniques.
- Knowledge of database management and query languages.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
