The Lincoln Group has partnered with a client in the construction industry in search of a Project Manager to join their team on a direct-hire basis! The Project Manager is responsible for all facets of assigned construction projects and will maintain relationships with internal as well as external clients.

Work Schedule: Full-time
Compensation: $95,000 – $135,000 DOE plus performance-based bonus
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Manage and supervise day to day operations of staff and teams on assigned projects.
- Manage required project administration and documentation.
- Secure and properly execute Subcontract Agreements.
- Manage all aspects of the project’s financial status and understand project final costs, revenue, and margin at any time during the project.
- Ensure required permits and/or licenses are obtained and posted.
- Manage procurement of all material, equipment, and fixtures, negotiate with vendors, and write POs.
- Improve and establish budget and schedule delivery dates and manage continual cost control management and forecasting.
- Provide QA review of submittals before presenting to the GC and ensure submittals logs are set up and maintained.
- Develop and submit a schedule of values.
- Ensure assigned projects are properly staffed.
- Review, approve, and process all subcontractor and supplier invoices.
- Identify new business opportunities, arrange business meetings with prospective clients, and build relationships with existing clients.
- Ensure that all appropriate safety planning is accomplished.
- Review all portions of the general contract.
- Conduct pre-construction turnover meetings for all assigned projects.
- Initiate, setup, and monitor project short-interval planning in conjunction with GC’s schedule.
- Oversee Project Engineers and Project Leads.
- Price change orders and change conditions.
- Oversee tools and rental equipment.
- Prepare accurate Project Cost Projections/Contract Valuations monthly.
REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND ABILITIES:
- 5+ years of Mechanical Contracting Project Management experience.
- College/University graduate or equivalent combination of skills and construction management experience.
- Initiates, develops, and maintains professional relationships internally and externally.
- Consistently demonstrates a high degree of creativity, foresight, patience, and mature professional judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented complexities.
- Able to effectively run meetings and develop meeting minutes.
- Demonstrates independent professional decision-making.
- Able to make authoritative decisions and recommendations.
